REGISTRATION When registering, please use a valid email address, one that you check regularly; email/messages from the Admin and/or other members will be sent to this address. After completing your registration, an automated email will be sent to the email address that you provided to indicate that you have registered. Please follow the email instructions to activate your account. When this is done, then you can login to PRO-GUN Forums with the username and password you provided on your registration. POST REPLY NOTIFICATIONS If you wish to be notified when a post is made on your thread or to a post you made on any one's thread, first you need to "bookmark" your post - then go to your profile and click on "bookmarks" next to "Modify my Profile". You will then see all the topics you bookmarked - on the top line above the topics, to extreme right, click on "Manage Bookmarks". Check on the topics you'll like to be notified and select the means to be notified - I checked "email".
If instead you see "You have no threads bookmarked" then proceed to "Click here to manage your bookmarks preferences". Then you can check your default notification from the drop down menu, then click on "Update Bookmarks and Preferences". ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
PRIVATE MESSAGES To receive email notifications when some one sends you a Private Message (PM), you need to activate that preference (recommended). Below the board's name banner you'll find "You Have x Private messages" , click on that. At the top line, above the Status > Subject > From > Date you'll find "Preferences" - click on that and find a pull-down menu below "Notification" and set email notification to YES, then go down and click on "Save Preferences".
